The Mattachine Complex

Hullo there. I'm Charz Mendoza and according to Jom Baguios, I am a Korean looking non-Korean, Korean speaking fellow.

Okay, that's settled. Let's begin.

I hate being ignored. Next to rejection, it’s the worse kind of treatment a professional person could get. But who am I to complain? I ain’t got the right yet. And I really need the money. So get a grip, freak. We still gots a lot to prove to them assholes.

Disclaimer: I am not generalizing. I am merely stating a reality, speaking in behalf of my friends who share the same fate.

I Am Thankful For

A lot of shallow things and a few treasures I hold deep in my heart.

I am thankful for the internets — the nooks and crannies I always go visit late at night (facebook, twitter, google) and teh stuff that keeps me sane ALL THE TIME (my apple gadgets and my wonderful wonderful moleskine).

I am thankful for those nerds who supply me with illegally downloaded songs and movies and those awesome people I surround myself with (designers, royalties and friends).

And of course I am thankful for my family who’s always there to nag and my cakester whom I love to bicker :3

I am always driven by the terror of humiliation.

Which is harder, to forgive or to forget?

Unbelievable

There always has to be a party pooper.

It’s a hard life.

A Completely Different Conquest

Okay. We’re not going to Kuala Lumpur because mum wants Bangkok. But since all flights are fully-booked, we decided to go to Hong Kong instead.

But you see my mum just wants to shop. That’s the only reason why she goes abroad. For her, temples are just rubbles and museums are plain boring. I on the other hand, want to travel. In the fullest sense of the word, I go immerse myself. I go discover the cultures and practices and feed my creativity with all sorts of interesting things.

That’s just me.

It’s very easy to be different, but very difficult to be better.
